I would say a true classic diner style restaurant still making even better burgers then l remember been coming here for a long time. Burgers are made grilled to perfection flavor is great and topped how you like it how its always been and the amount of fries which are fresh cut fries simply amazing. The staff very friendly and greet and talk to everyone who comes in truly an amazing old school diner experience

Love this "hidden gem" that I found years ago when working in the area. Now that I am in Northern Ontario it's a treat to stop in whenever we can.

Nice little restaurant with great old timey vibes to get your fill of fish & chips. They have great selection of fish like halibut, haddock, cod, pollock, and the way this Fish & Chips restaurant stands out against other ones is that you can choose whether to get the fries/chips or with salad or just the fish only instead. Great for those who might be on a diet but still want battered fish. The owner is very nice. She said the restaurant's been open for 60 years or so. They wear it on their t-shirt, since 1962 or 1964, can't quite remember. They're open on Good Friday but cash/debit only and no dining on Good Friday due to how busy it gets. I haven't had the meal here yet, but scoped the place out to eat for Good Friday with church friends. Will update my review once I have eaten.

Really enjoy the fish and ships and the staff it's very kind and friendly this time I just did a take out. I will definitely will come to enjoy a meal with mine family. Thank you!!!

Great hospitality, great food. Portions are great. Had a job site down the road and I definitely don’t regret giving chubby’s a shot. Been eating here at least once a week.

Tried chubbys fish and chips 1st time wow was i impressed! Not greasing, very fresh and lot's .of meat and not much batter. Gravy is nice and thick tastes great good size for the price. I had halibut and chips

Ordered Halibut and Chips for takeout. Generous portions as you can see from the pictures. The fish tasted as your standard Halibut tastes. The batter was thin and light and went well with the Fish. Did I mention generous portions? Tonnes of fries for you fry lovers out there for sure. I'd definitely go again.
